Cash for your clunker? Here’s the key

Recession-tapped drivers trying to decide whether to keep repairing their old jalopies or invest in new wheels will have some options this summer, thanks to a federal program.

The “cash for clunkers” bill - signed last week by President Obama - may make sense for many owners whose cars are worth under $4,500.
