WASHINGTON — The top House Republican says the GOP can defeat the Democratic health care bill that may reach the House floor this coming week.

Ohio Rep. John Boehner says Republicans alone can’t stop the legislation. But he says Republicans are "going to do everything we can to make it difficult for them, if not impossible, to pass the bill."

A lone voice crying in the wilderness.

Let's hope he can stop the obama culture of corruption from taking over one sixth of the economy.

I hope this bill dies soon, since Obama is talking it to death. When the majority of Americans don't want it, shouldn't that be enough? Yes, reform, but not this reform. How about starting with TORT reform?
Let's move on and get the economy on track. We need jobs, PRIVATE SECTOR jobs.

I have to believe that the Republicans can stop this horrible plan. This coming week will tell.

This bill and these Democrat tactics are the worst display of abusive government policy in the history of this republic. But, if you do not want it to pass then YOU must directly contact your Democratic U.S. Representative and voice your objection.

Yes, I know - we have a bunch of self-important rogues allegedly representing Massachusetts in Congress, but all of you can NEVER legitimately complain ever again if you do not at least CALL your rep and voice your objection.

Posting in this forum is no substitute for picking up the phone or actually visiting your rep's local office. DO IT! Directly hearing from you may be the only thing that gets thru to these people.

YOU are the only one who can do this!
