PITTSBURGH — Bank of America has apologized to a Pittsburgh-area woman after one of its contractors allegedly trashed her house and took her parrot while wrongly repossessing her home.

Forty-six-year-old Angela Iannelli sued the bank Monday. She claims her mortgage was up-to-date when one of the banking giant’s contractors damaged furniture, took her pet parrot, Luke, and padlocked her door in October.

I guess the fact that there was a parrot involved makes this story \"funny\" and therefore newsworthy, but I\'m sure that Bank of America has done worse things to people in this state in the past twenty-four hours.

can we get a \"this is how Bank of America f&*#ed me over this week\" thread going here?

anyone had a 19-day hold on deposited check?

Never mind they'll review her lawsuit and see what they can do for her. They can start by forgiving the remainder of her mortgage and transfer ownership over to her yesterday. And if they do not, I would sue them for damages in the amount of her mortgage balance and then turn around and say keep it for my balance and get a receipt most definitely.
