Throughout its 30 years, the Kennedy Library has sought to keep faith with John F. Kennedy’s belief that one person can make a difference and every person should try.

Thirty years ago on Oct. 20, 1979, bright autumn sunshine, a brisk onshore breeze and fanfare from the Boston Symphony Orchestra greeted 10,000 guests attending the dedication of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
