Frank talk on Tickle-gate
U.S. Rep. Barney Frank, a longtime advocate for gay rights, doesn’t think the scandal involving ex-Rep. Eric Massa should negatively reflect on the gay community any more than other politicians’ misdeeds denigrate their respective communities.
“What does Charlie Rangel do to the black community? What do Mark Sanford or John Edwards do to the straight community?” Frank said this week.

This is why most gay males are actually against gay marriage--gays have NO idea of what the word "Loyalty" means. Not that the term loyalty hasn't affected heterosexual relationships, but in my 63 years, I have NEVER seen two gays remain loyal to each other, let alone their country.

That Barney, boy. He's really something. First, he didn't know Hot Bottom was running a house of ill repute out of his DC basement, then he didn't know his current loverboy was growing pot on his Maine property, then he claimed he didn't even know what marijuana looked like. I thought Barney was supposed to be the smartest fella in Congress?
Love the line about the GOP always looking for a way to jab across the aisle. Listen, folks, we're in a financial crisis. Politics are what got us into the mess, and as the new GOP poster boy Scott Brown admitted during his campaign, there's "plenty of blame to go around". Now, the GOP is counting on the citizens to have a very short memory, in that the crisis began and crested with one of their own in office, just like the war on terror began with one of their own in office. "Jabbbing" is the last thing we need, and working on our problems is the first. They're all sitting comfortably, income not at all affected, benefits not at all affected, still getting that gold standard government run health care, while fighting against the same for the citizens. The government takes us for fools, and it's no wonder why. Sexual shenanigans? Who do they effect? Nobody but the participants and their families. The media take us for a bunch of idiots as well, by placing an emphasis on these sorts of stories. Thankfully, I'm still working, but were I unemployed, I'd be mad as hell that the media, can't seem to keep the focus on what matters. It isn't who's tickling who, it isn't who's "jabbing" across the aisle, it's how do we right the ship of state. Unfortunately, the message the Herald has been busy propagandizing with is that the only way to repair the state is by giving total power to the republicans. Doesn't sound like a balance of power to me. Their aim (the media) is to forward the belief that there had been a total democratic stranglehold on power, so obviously, we need a total republican stranglehold on power. Back to Brown, there's "plenty of blame to go around" people, and the truth is we've had a total 2 party stranglehold on power, and it's time for some independent candidates that aren't hand picked by the major powers to represent nobody but major industries (not us, unless you're a major industry). Take off the blinders, people, the ones you're cheering for are some of the people that got your life in the mess it's in.
