Nearly 20 years after the enigmatic Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist, key investigators are redoubling efforts to publicize an offer of full and unconditional immunity to anyone who helps locate or return 13 stolen items valued at a half-billion dollars.

The investigators have made recovering the goods a far greater priority than identifying the elusive twosome who broke in and removed the treasures. They hope the large volume of media coverage surrounding the milestone anniversary Thursday, March 18, will help propel the message forward.

hey kelly why don't yoou pray to St Anthony ---workds every time.

....

On the serious side if the feds really believe that the paintings are within 100 miles of the museum then there were more creative methods that should have been used.

Mind blowing that they believe some of the more expensive works that were stolen are within a 100 mile radius of Boston. Which means they know some details that they are not revealing to the general public. Boy, would it be interesting to solve this mystery. I have always found it so fascinating. Imagine being the one to crack this case and then collecting the 5 million reward. Sweet!

Whatever happened to the career art thief, myles Conner? seems like the feds kinda guy>

.......

Hey Mr Kelley why not do the right thing and and admit to yourself and the world that there is a stong possiblility that FBI agents were in cahoots with the art thieves and those agents know where the paintings are?

we're talking mid to late 1980s and the ties between the bad guys and the badder FBI agents was very strong.

just saying

to reward the persons who took and the person who actually ended up with the items seems to me to reward crimmal activity.....in general this is not a good idea....
This time i think it is a good idea as to the return of this treasures...

Go see the Titian masterpiece on the 2nd floor - The Rape of Europa. Another Titian masterpiece sold last year in '09 for $71mil. And our Titian Masterpiece is way mo better....and newer.
I'm such a homer.
Anyhow go see this thing. It is the most valuable piece of art in the city.
It's almost as cool as the Seymour Table.....made right down the street....not kidding.
