The plot revolves around Julie Taylor and her mom, Tami’s, college road trip to Harvard and Boston College . “The coach’s daughter comes to look at elite schools in the East,” said BC spokesman Jack Dunn . “BC was chosen for its beauty and academic reputation.” Because Harvard does not allow filming on campus, those scenes were shot in Harvard Square.
That Ben Affleck will take his “The Town” shoot on the road today to Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut. Affleck and his cast, which includes TV’s “Gossip Girl” Blake Lively and Jon Hamm of “Mad Men,” are lensing - you guessed it - a casino scene for their bank-robbery flick.
